On this page you can find information about how VM Arstiteenused OÜ (hereinafter: Valeomed) and Verisana GmbH, address Spitalerstraße 9, 20095 Hamburg (hereinafter: Verisana) processes your personal data and ensures their protection:

1. Collection of personal data and definition of responsible and authorized processor

The Valeomed e-shop is a recognized distributor of Verisana laboratory tests in Europe and the USA, which deals with the marketing of various test services produced by Verisana in the Republic of Estonia (hereinafter: Services). In order to provide you with Services, Valeomed must also process your personal data.

The personal data processed by Valeomed primarily includes your first and last name, phone number, e-mail address, residence data, current account number.  Other data necessary for the provision of the Services are processed by Verisana: data concerning your health, microbiome (hereinafter: Personal data). The transmission of personal data to Valeomedi takes place when you submit an order for Services and to Verisana - when filling out the delivery form.

2. Principles of personal data processing

Valeomed and Verisana process Personal Data in accordance with the principles of data protection recognized in Europe - in particular the principles of legality, transparency, purposefulness and minimality - and the requirements established by the applicable law, and when processing Personal Data, always takes into account your interests, rights and freedoms.

3. Basis and scope of personal data processing

Valeomed processes your Personal Data as the responsible processor mainly for the fulfillment of the contract concluded with you or with your participation for the provision of Services. The processing of your Personal Data may also be necessary to fulfill obligations arising from legislation (for example, in connection with the obligation to organize accounting, etc.).

4. Transmission of personal data and data processors

Valeomed keeps your Personal Data confidential and does not pass them on to third parties. In certain cases, it is necessary to use third parties - data processors - to process personal data. Data processors process your Personal Data on behalf of Valeomed only if it is necessary for the purpose of processing, and on the condition that they ensure the level of Personal Data protection required by legislation. In the processing of Personal Data, Valeomed primarily uses the following data processors (by category):

• IT service providers who ensure the safe and systematic storage and processing of your Personal Data and the operation and development of Valeomed's online environment and other software necessary for the provision of Services;
• Web analytics service providers. We use the Google Analytics (Google LLC) service to monitor and analyze website traffic. It is possible to turn off the Google Analytics service by installing the "Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on" tool on your web browser from the following link:

• payment service providers – Montonio Finance AS;
• providers of accounting services;
• laboratory service providers (Verisana GmbH).

5. Storage of personal data

Valeomed stores the collected Personal Data both on paper and electronically in the information system. Valeomed stores Personal Data as long as claims may arise as a result of the contractual relationship or as long as legal provisions require it. Personal data that is no longer needed for the provision of the Services ordered by you or for you or for the fulfillment of the storage obligations stipulated in the legislation will be deleted after a reasonable time has passed.

In the event that you have given Valeomed your consent to receive marketing materials and offers, Valeomed will store your relevant Personal Data indefinitely until you withdraw your consent.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to contact Valeomed at any time to exercise your legal rights:

• the right to request information about which Personal Data we process about you;
• the right to request correction or deletion of Personal Data;
• the right to demand limitation of the processing of Personal Data or to submit objections to the processing of Personal Data if there are grounds provided for in legislation;
• the right to request the transfer of Personal Data;
• the right to demand that a decision based on automated processing is not taken about you.
